Gabbie loved getting her hair and makeup done before her bridal boudoir photoshoot. For her, it felt like it really added to the fun and special experience. When she was ready, Gabbie told me how much she was feeling herself! It helped amp her up for the photoshoot.

Bridal boudoir outfits can be anything you want them to be. Gabbie chose 4 different outfits and you may be surprised that they’re not your traditional idea of bridal boudoir. Her outfits were a cute matching PJ set, simple bridal lingerie set, her fiance’s button down, and then a corset outfit.
How To Choose Your Bridal Boudoir Outfits
I love recommending a cute PJ set or a t-shirt that is off the shoulder or cropped as your starting outfit. Your bridal boudoir photoshoot would not be complete without at least 1 bridal lingerie outfit. Several lingerie websites specialize in bridal lingerie. Then, think about grabbing your fiance’s button down or maybe his favorite jersey, or hat. Incorporating anything personal and recognizable adds a special level of spiciness that only you two will understand.
Why Do A Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot
Gabbie and I talked about the reasons why she did her boudoir photoshoot and her reason before VS after was different.
The idea orginally came up as a sexy gift for her fiance before their wedding. And I agree, I love a fun and unique gift idea that keeps the relationship spicy.
However, after her photoshoot, Gabbie told me that she loves to look back at the the photobook just for her. She and her husband now have a baby together! She loves to look back at her photobook and remind herself how beautiful and strong she is as a person. She even admitted feeling “Was this ME that did that??” and then immediately going “Yea! Wow that was me! That IS me.”
Gabbie loves how empowering the boudoir photoshoot ended up being for her self confidence and body image.
The Big Reveal To Her Fiance
Gabbie filled me in on how she revealed the gift to her fiance.
On the day of their wedding – the actual day of – Gabbie had her sister give her fiance the photobook all wrapped up. Her sister, by the way, thought it was awesome that Gabbie did this boudoir experience.
Gabbie’s fiance unwrapped the gift, not knowing what was inside. Mind you, his dad and her dad were hanging out in the same room all together!
As soon as he opened the first couple of pages to the book, he tried to hide his smile and excitement, and quickly closed it so that others would not see it!
