Single mom of 3 celebrates her milestone birthday with a boudoir photoshoot at age 50!
Talk about busting excuses… this rad woman nailed it!
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if this woman can step out of her comfort zone and have a boudoir photoshoot after having 3 kids, a divorce, and turning 50 – then you can, too.
Let’s repeat that for the ladies in the back.
If she can do it – you can do it, too.

What are you going to do with your boudoir photos?
Rose –
“I ordered an Art Book with all my favorite photos from the photoshoot! This Art Book is going to be for me. I wanted something private, yes, but I wanted something physical that I could look back on and enjoy the artistic aspect of my photographs. I love that my photos will feel like art.
I went with a red velvet cover because it just feels like me and it feels like a sexy choice.”

When did you become interested in a boudoir photoshoot?
Rose –
“I’ve been interested in a boudoir photoshoot for probably the the last five years or so.”

Chiha Boudoir –
Why did you want to do a boudoir photoshoot?
Rose –
“I was a little hesitant with it, but then I turned 50 this year. I’m a divorced mom of 3. I wanted to do this for myself and no one else.
I said to myself, you know what this is going to be super fun. I should do this because when I’m 93, I’m going to look back at these pictures and be like, wow, I was a hot little ticket. So I decided to celebrate my 50th with a boudoir photoshoot and to finally just do it after thinking about it for so many years. I’m so happy I did it. It was super fun, totally loved it and would do it again.”

Chiha Boudoir –
What was the photoshoot like for you?
Rose –
“As the shoot went along, I felt more and more comfortable.
Trust the process. It was really cool. We got a lot of laughs in there, too.
Gaby used a special photoshoot backdrop and at first when she hung it up, I did not see the vision and I wasn’t sure I was going to like the backdrop in my photos. When I saw my photos, though, it all came together perfect and I loved it.”

Chiha Boudoir –
Did you feel awkward or uncomfortable during your photoshoot?
Rose –
“Gaby was great. She made me feel so comfortable. And, believe it or not, we also had a lot of great laughs. Gaby made it a fun process and she made me feel comfortable in my body. If I had an idea of a picture in my head that I wanted to try out, Gaby was always 100% on board to try my ideas, too.”

Chiha Boudoir –
What did you think of your photos?
Rose –
“When I first saw my photos, I was like, WOW, oh my God, these are so beautiful.
After seeing my photos, I was like- Oh, my God, I’m SO glad I did this. I’m definitely going to want to do this again.”

Chiha Boudoir –
What advice would you give to other women who are unsure?
Rose –
“I know I had hesitancies doing this, so I know other people may have hesitancies, too. Maybe becuase you’re wondering if this going to be an overly sexy photoshoot? Am I going to be comfortable? What do I have to wear? What do I have to do?
“I would say go into it and make of it what you want. You can make it playful and flirty OR edgy and sexy. There’s no one right way. You don’t have to be in a specific kind of ‘outfit.’ Have fun with it and it can be anything. You don’t have to do all your photos on a bed, either. I love the photos we took in the bathtub!
“Don’t hesitate. Don’t keep putting it off. Just do it. Like, who cares? No one has to see the photos if you don’t want to. But, I will say, you’re going to want people to see them!”
