Frequently asked questions about Chiha Boudoir photography studio answered here.
What type of print products do you have?
We offer a variety of fine art photobooks and matted prints that can come in one of our luxury presentation boxes. The luxury presentation boxes are for matted 8×10 art prints or 11×14 art prints. There is inexplicable feeling we get when we hold a physical photo or physical photobook in our hands. It truly transports you and makes the moment feel alive. It’s surreal and amazing to see yourself like this. Gabbie loves looking back on her album as much as her husband does because she loves the reminder of how amazing her boudoir experience made her feel.
Do you offer digital images?
The digital images are great to have as well. You’ll have the option to choose a Collection that includes some or all of your digital images. They will be in high resolution and we never put a watermark or our logo on them.
What’s a GIF?
A fun and sexy digital option that we offer at our studio. This works best with 3 or 4 images. Here’s a great example.
I’m freaking out! How can I calm my nerves?
Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you WEREN’T nervous. The nervousness in the beginning of your shoot will make your ‘WOW’ moment of seeing your photos for the first time so much better. The hardest part is just showing up for your photoshoot. I’m here to help you feel more relaxed and comfortable from start to finish. You don’t have to stress about a thing.
How many outfits should I bring?
Typically, I recommend 2 or 3 outfits. You’ll have the option to upgrade your collection to have more outfits. Having multiple outfits allows you to have great variety in your portraits. Sometimes it’s hard to know which outfit you’re going to love best until you see your photos afterwards. If you plan on wearing 3 outfits, I recommend you bring 4-5 outfits to your photoshoot. Why? Because once I see your outfits in person or on you, I will be able to give my expert advice as to which outfits flatter your body type most, flatter your skin tone, and will look best on camera.
What time should I show up?
You should always plan to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This way you have time to park, go to the bathroom, and have the time to chat briefly before going into hair and makeup.
Where will my photoshoot be?
You have the option to have your photoshoot at your own home or one of our airbnb studio spaces. Each one has it’s advantages. When you shoot in your own home there is an added level of comfort and familiarity. There is also an added amount of allure to see your sexy photos in your own bedroom, your own kitchen, your own furniture – especially if you have a partner you’re giving these photos to.
On the other hand, the advantage of using an Airbnb is that you don’t have to worry about cleaning up and organizing your home. The Airbnb will look classy and photoshoot ready when you arrive. We only shoot in Airbnbs that have great window light, decor, and furnishings.
